Fine he might have some help but they definitely cant be yonkou level. Then the WG would have 6 yonkou level fighters 5 admiral level fighters, 7 shichibukai, and about 20 VAs, the yonkous wouldn't be alive if each Gorosei were yonkou lvl.
Sigh...I really wanted to quote you...heh...anyway, the theory of the Gorsei's power level and their origin has been circling around. If I remember correctly, there's a theory going around about Jewelry Bonney using her power to change the gorosei's age back to their prime. Seems plausible to me, and bonney's character would also a purpose then.

The problem is all the other really strong characters already have someone to fight. Zoro vs Mihawk, Sanji vs Kizaru, Sabo vs Akainu, Dragon vs Kong, so I don't see who would help Luffy fight the Gorosei since all the Yonkous will be dead when Luffy is PK.
Bonney: She can only turn people from "very old" or "very young." She has to keep eating cause it takes alot of her energy. Besides, if she could revive people in their prime, she would've did it to her poor saps of a crew. Dragon saved her from Akainu and she is a revolutionary now. She is also Big Mom's other daughter(notice how Bonney's ship has cake and icing on it just like Big Mom's ship? LoLa, Big Mom's other daughter, also has pink hair).
The reason why you're making that assumptionis because you believe those fights will be in the same arc. Think about what the strawhats are doing currently in the manga. Doflamingo is a set up for kaido, luffy wants to take out all the yonkou, the supernovas will be fighting the yomkous as well, so what arc does the world government come into play? That's simple, after the Yonkous have been taken out, the admirals will be forced to go after the strawhats and supernovas, the strawhats will defeat the Admirals and they will make it to Raftel, Someone will be there as well most likely the BB pirates, the strawhats will defeat them and once they obtain the onepiece, a war will break out, the gorosei will be forced to fight after their secrets might be exposed once the strawhats learn of the true history of the void century....then afterwards....eh...I'm to lazy but you get the gist of it...
Ah...I've read the theory of Bonney and Big Moms connection on Oro Jackson, I swear that website has the best theories, although I still can't understand why Bonney isn't allowed to use her power to change a person into their prime, but battlewise you wouldn't use that ability since that would actually be a disadvantage for bonney so of course she would make them frail/ old or young as a child since they would be easier to kill essentially. I've also read the theory on the cane of one of the gorosei being Uranus, it sounds plausible but almost every theory makes since to a certain degree so we will have to wait and see what Oda will actually follow.
So do they want One Piece so that Uranus will work and keep them alive?

One Piece might be the upper half of Uranus(the power to revive a person who died in One Piece). The Gorosei has the lower half of Uranus that only extends their lives and preserves their strength. That One Piece of Uranus is all they need to rule everything. If one of them dies, the other can revive him. They also need the upper half to manipulate the souls of the DFs. With the enire Uranus, they can trap and contain the souls of DFs inside Uranus and essentially have an endless supply of Dfs.
