If it's only on your continent I wouldnt worry, they say it's in west Africa and your from South Africa right? I think you will be safe for a while

My father is in West Africa (Gambia) right now, I hope he does not get infected.
I had Malaria once and it was awful. I spit blood all the time, it's really nothing to joke with.

Ot: Dont worry, I dont think youre going to get infected.

You can joke about it, but it's true! The first HIV positive person was first identified at USA!

correction.

all jokes aside.... we all know that just because there is televised press in the US might be the only reason why it could have been the first place to identify someone with it publicly... but we also all know that prior to that case there were like a million other people in africa with aids decades prior to that one person in the US... just no jungle press to report it.

stupid shamans telling people in africa that to cure their puffy penis they gotta rape a young virgin... that's so twisted.... that's your country buddy...

Yes, I had Malaria once. I didnt really know how to describe it in English, so it may have seemed a bit more nice than it actually is.
But also I was very lucky, we went to a hospital in Gambia, where a new doctor from England just started, he had very much knowledge of Malaria and gave me the best medicine he could afford. So it didnt take me that long to cure.
But also it was very sad to see a lot of Africans hustle with Malaria because they couldnt afford medicine. We bought a lot of medicine which only costed us Europeans 10-30 Euro, but 3000+ Dallasi for the Africans.
