Do you think he was lying when itachi said that him and kisame needed backup to beat jariya( dont know if I spelled his name right )? Because if he was then I want your opinion on why they didn't kill him right there. In my opinion if itachi was smart, he should've just used amerteratsu and jariya would've died. If I remember right I think he already had ms activated. Or do you think kishi hadnt planned all of his ms abilities yet?

I want you to read that panel again. It begins with them speaking of the kyuubi. Then Kisame brings up Jiraiya. And Itachi calls attention to the fact thaat everyone has weaknesses.
