Actually she would most likely beat that Sakura.
At first i thought maybe even end of part 1 Sakura could beat her but then i checked the stats and i found Rin had better ninjutsu, taijutsu, speed and stamina.
Joining those with the fact that Rin was a already a Chunin one year before Sakura graduated from the academy makes me believe that Rin was definitely superior.

Its not that easy. She could use kunais at any time and was fighting Ino seriously (even throwed some at one point). She didn't have to kill her, just injure would be enough but she didn't do it (or couldn't).
Sakura's 'feats' at that time could be replicated by any genin (except chakra control, genjutsu skills and amateur medical ninjutsu) given her overall lack of physical attributes and abilities (Iruka even made a remark on this after Team 7 finished the 2nd stage of the CE), that's not the way.

Rin is featless but the difference between Chunin and Genin was made very clear in part 1. There's a reason why Sakura didn't pass the exam the first time, on the other hand Rin managed to get there faster.

But let's look at it like this Rin turning Chunin was plot so that Obito and her could be in the same team if she was in the forest of death she was probably just sitting there and healing Kakashi and Obito and in the Prelims stage she was up against some random fodder.
Sakura could easily trick her or Spam Kawirimi like she did with Zaku and Stab her.

Rin Wins xDD.... why.. Cuz she's better in taijutsu than pts sakura, even tho if "pts sakura goes ode on rin with her double's and kunai", rin will use medical ninjutsu and heal herself and then beat pts sakura up. And... rin was a jinchuriki.....

And if u talkin bout Manga sakura vs Rin we'll i'll say the biju gets out of rin and kills sakura, but sakura could juss beat rin asap soo Sakura wins..
