avatar korra book 3,4

the first part i want to talk about is why avatar korra is consider a failure to me...
unlike the last airbender each season korra must face a new enemy which i didnt like dont u agree?
i always thought Amon should have been ang second son who got the ability to take bending and he have some sort of deep connection to the spirit and he want to create a new era of dark avatar or something and he should have been the villian (together with the red lotus cause they are awesome) for all four books... wouldnt that be awesome?? and there could be side storied like the romance and the tarlok corraption and blood bending and maybe even bring BaSingSa in there... idk i just think Amon had the potential to be a great villian with the right intention... just like obito and madara

since it didnt happened i think they should fix it and make that last 2 book: 3,4 cover up the same story with red lotus and ithink what the need to do is to create a new avatar kid which will be a dark avatar and teach him the way of spirits and bending and one day he will fight korra and try to bring balance by help the spirits take over the human world and force the humans to hide in the turtle lion... no nations pure balance

There isn't one main villain cuz there isn't a war between nations

And Amon dying in the 1st season doesn't change the fact he was one of the best villains in the Avatar franchise

I think Amon and the Elemental four are 1 of the best in the avatar franschise.

Well book 3 villains want chaos since that will bring true order - disorder. Although the thought of having 2 avatars (dark or light) doesn't sit well with me. I do agree that Amon should've had a reoccuring role through the series, and possibly be a member of the red lotus.

What if instead of all the complexity, korra spends the rest of book 3 & the majority of book 4 training herself and the rest of the new airbenders; and for the last 4 chapters in the series, stage an all out war with the four benders thats chasing her now. At least that way the directors wont have to come up with some BS power that wasn't foreshadowed throughout the story like lavabending or spacebending or something like that

I think Amon and the Elemental four are 1 of the best in the avatar franschise.

They are what Naruto villains could be like if they didn't lose to talk no jutsu

Amon was good, season 2 was shit. This season is pretty good, still don't like Bolin and Mako though. That spirit girl as well.

Azula is still the best villian though, no one compares.

ot: I feared for the third season, but as soon they kicked of with zaheer... so far real good.

amon had no background for four seasons, unalogg sucked even as (ex-)red lotus. Ah well...

The real reason Amon wasn't the villain throughout the 4 books is because the creators made book 1 only. They then got word from Nick for a continuation and put together the next books. TLA was, from the start, a solid story broken into 4 sections while Korra from the start was intended to be 1 season.

Korra's been just as good on a season per season basis, the thing that makes TLA better for me is like you said, the connection of all 4 seasons. If Korra had been written in the same idea format it probably would have surpassed TLA for a lot of people.
