How far do you agree that people from history considered ‘great’ rarely deserve the title? Can you cite some examples too?

Well, it depends on what made them great.

Its just an opinion. Like the people who say Columbus is great because he discovered North America. Its not all that significant to me seeing that native people already inhabited "America" before Europeans came over there. But they don't acknowledge the native people finding it first or being there so they don't see them as "great"
