he either meant destroy as in kill the island since it's a living being, or meant that fighting with jinton that close to the island could possibly result in the island being destroyed. The largest jinton oonoki has shown to date, even with tsunade enhancing him would not have come close to destroying the island.

, and even in its largest and most powerful form it doesn't come anywhere near blowing up turtle island. Therefore he didn't literally mean blow up the island, he meant kill it since it's a living being.

This is the same thing as amaterasu being as hot as the sun or haku's mirrors allowing him to move at the speed of light. The statements aren't no limits statements, but have been outright falsified by the manga, and therefore aren't literally true.

Although I agree that a TBB is greater than that of a Jinton in terms of grand power and atomic pulverization, especially if they were to come in contact with each other, but the thing is is that Gyuki tanked his own TBB, which raises the question: Can Gyuki also tank a Jinton?
