[Discussion] About Kakashi

Greetings base! Today I want to post about something that has been bothering me ever since the Infinite Tsukuyomi arc. Since everyone got trapped in the IT, Kakashi has done nothing but stand there. Many of you have repeatedly stated how the loss of his Sharingan crippled him, rendering him useless for this battle.

I must say I respectfully disagree. You see, Hatake Kakashi mastered lightning release and achieved Jounin rank at a very young age, before Obito gave him his Sharingan. If you remember part I, the use of this Sharingan left him exhausted for a week and his lightning cutter could only be used 4 times a day before leaving him out of chakra.

After the timeskip, Kakashi could use his lightning cutter a lot more, while also using Kamui. This, as you know are chakra demanding techniques, and still, he managed to keep fighting, implying his chakra control is top-notch. Let's not forget that he copied and mastered lots and lots of jutsus from his enemies.

But now, Masashi Kishimoto has the audacity to tell me that this same Shinobi, far more experienced and without a Sharingan that is constantly draining out his chakra (rendering his chakra pool far more reliable and big), with Kage level jutsus and stamina, is more useless than Sakura.

No, just no. I have a lot of trouble believing that.

There's a possibility he isn't fodder without Sharingan and that's only and I repeat only if the supposedly 1000 techniques he copied still remained in his brain. If they did, there surely has to be at least a few of them which are A-ranks which could prove useful in battles. Otherwise, no, because he heavily relied on Sharingan in dangerous battles.

yeah im kinda disappointed about the way Kishi portrays Kakashi now. He was a strong ninja even at a young age, w/o Sharingan, now he looses it and hes useless? hmm, hope he memorized all those Jutsus he copied in the past! :snick:

I'm hoping this is the case. If you had asked me two weeks ago, I would've told you that Obito was to give Kakashi the Sharingan once again, giving Kakashi the role of the one who could travel between dimensions.

The arrival of the Kages might have something to do with Kakashi's time to shine.

That's a good question. And that's the only thing that could save him from being fodderized by the readers, in my opinion.

I wouldn't be so sure. I say this because in the past, whenever he ran out of chakra he just fainted without the slightest possibility of getting up.

I think Kakashi is still able to fight, he just doesn't know what he can do against Kaguya. He was gonna become a human shield and sacrifice himself for that but Obito didnt let him because even Obito knew that Kakashi was still needed. I think he will get a bigger role later in the fight. All of his comments about how useless he has been and Obito saving him are foreshadowing him doing something non-useless in the future. Im not sure exactly what that is yet but that's the point. Make him seem useless in this fight and then have him do something that totally helps "save the day" and wouldnt be able to accomplish without Kakashi.

NO ONE predicted Naruto using the reverse sexy jutsu on Kaguya, but like Naruto sadi, it was something he bet Kaguya had never seen before. I wonder...since Kaguya 2.0 has been 1000 years in the making....should they use ....

Seem that almost everyone said Kakashi is useless without Sharingan & Kamui.
So, Kishi remove Kakashi sharingan & kamui, to a normal ninja.
Then the REAL Kakashi will be finally reveal to be;
1). his 1000+ jutsu skill
2) his vast knowledge of jutsu

3) The hints were also mentioned in current chapter (see post 7)
4) Hint also about he may have

I maybe wrong but .. . . it seems like GAI did more during this War than KaKashi
At least had more of an effect on Madara than even the 5 Kages.

Exactly!! That's more or less my point. A jounin should be able to at least HELP a bit, not just stand there and think "I'm useless".
