Looks: Uryū Ishida is a bespectacled teenager of average height and slender build. He has straight, chin-length raven-colored hair framing both sides of his face, and is fair-skinned with blue eyes. In school, Uryū wears the respective school uniform along with a tie. When confronting Hollows, he typically dons white Quincy clothes, with blue stripes representing the Quincy cross, and a mantle. His attire is a variation of the Stern Ritter's typical white uniform, consisting of the order's signature hooded cloak, an ankle-length trench coat with many buttons on its front and sleeves, and white dress shoes with black trims descending into the toes. Due to becoming the successor of Vandenreich, Uryu's clothes sports highly ranked badges with the Vandenreich insignia imprinted within the back of his coat.
Personality: Uryū is generally quiet and solitary, but tries harder to act cool when other people are around. Uryū has low blood pressure and hates procrastination. The other things he hates are quite odd: buttons and the word "haphazard." Uryu enjoys using wires, able to wield a needle tied to a wire with pin-point accuracy. He loves wearing a mantle, even though it serves no purpose other than to make him feel cooler, despite the fact that it hinders his movement, even keeping a spare with him. He has a tendency to say things melodramatically. Uryū has proven to be gullible at times. During an omake, he starts getting irritated at the fact that a weapon has a will of own; Ichigo tricks him into thinking that Ginrei Kōjaku has actually materialized, to which Uryū sheds a happy tear. Uryū operates on a moral ethic known as the "Pride of the Quincy" and has a strong sense of justice.

Background Info
History: A child looked upon the decimated empire of Kirigakure as rain dripped from every collapsed building. Corpses lie silent as the water was completely shed with crimson blood. The village was silent. All was silent. The child cried as he glanced upon his parents, both pierced through by a sword. His jet black hair wavered along with the wind as the cloud gave way, causing a beam of light to shine upon this boy. In moments, the light moved away from the boy and slowly into a building with a throne sitting on the summit. The Lost King... The Prince of Light.. The Last Quincy.. Uryu Ishida..

As a young child, Uryu had abandoned Kirigakure as two couples found him, starving and lost. The two decided to adopt him as their son. They were Kanae Katagiri and Ryuken Ishida. The family retreated back to Konohagakure as they used the village as a place of residence. However, Uryu only interacted with his grandfather Soken due to the death of his mother and the hate given to him by his father. Soken was generous and taught Uryu about Cosmology and Archery. Slowly, Uryu had excelled over his grandfather under the fields of archery, able to shoot a target with pin-point accuracy at far distance. Ryuken, usually work-oriented watched as his son performed amazing feats. He was impressed but did not accept him as a real son. Growing up to be a young man, Uryu had grown to his grandfather's expectations. A strong man. Uryu applied for the military force and soon was the leader of Squad 7 of the military.
Turning 21, an announcement came from the current hokage of the events leading upon the disrespect among the villages. In result, all 4 parties had come to a conclusion; a Shinobi World War. Innocent villagers had retreated as they accumulated every shinobi with enough potential and strength. Awaiting at the front gates, a sound of a horn had wavered across the world as every village fought. Uryu rushed to the Kirigakure shinobis and with a single movement, released 5 arrows that pierced through the front lines of the Kirigakure Army. The battle continued for many days until a man of great strength had appeared within the battle. Engulfed with white robes, the man was joined by a bunch of other man with the same attire. Cutting through the ocean of fodders, the man reached for his robes as a black material started to revolve around the whole battalion. In mere moments, a huge explosion had swept every including Uryu to their imminent deaths. Now left with the commanders of the villages, the man spoke.
His Majesty shall recover his heartbeat. Also he shall recover his intelligence and soon, he shall recover the world. Fear us shinobi world, the war has already begun.
The group had fled as the kages had feared of what may come. To wipe out a battalion with a single move was a feat impossible to accomplish. Uryu lay upon a tree as he moved his fingers, seeing his own blood. The left side of his waist were completely destroyed. Slowly loosing blood, Uryu reached for his glasses as he could hear his heartbeat. His attire was desecrated and his eye sight started to fade. Uryu closed his eyes as he awaited for his death...

Uryu woke up into a large room. Tucked within a bed, Uryu stood up as he lifted his shirt, glancing upon a perfectly healthy body with no injuries. His eyesight was well as he looked left, looking upon his lenses. Wiping his lenses, the door creaked as the man, who was in the war brought a pair of clothing, throwing them into the bed. Put these on. His Majesty request your company. The man left as Uryu looked upon the white robes. Leaving his room, Uryu walked slowly around the building as he squinted, glancing upon the detail of this structure. Uryu stopped as a man with the same variation of the white robes, sat upon a golden throne. He was old but his chakra was immense, able to knock someone out. Greeting Uryu Ishida Uryu was surprised. How did he know his name? I am Yhwach, the Emperor of the Vandenreich Uryu was quick to intervene What do you want from me? Yhwach stood up as he came up to Uryu You are the my successor. Prinz von Licht. Do you want to change this world? To be in an era of peace and prosperity? Uryu nodded as Yhwach smirked. He thought of all the wars going on.. how his grandfather was slain by senseless fighting. Yhwach then stood just out of the podium as everyone faced him with respect.

Fuuton Affinity: After being a specialist at reading air currents and knowing where to shoot his arrows, Uryu soon mastered the arts of Fuuton, enabling him to preform a single hand seal.
Suiton Affinity: The second element he had studied and learned with Ushiro. Suiton had always fascinated him and decided to elect Suiton as his secondary affinity.
Taijutsu Master: At the time when he practiced marksmanship with his bow, Uryu had another hobby that even Soken didn't knew about. After hard training and dedication, Uryu managed to master taijutsu, enabling him to move his body freely.
Equipments: Uryu carries a large amount of accessories with him that aids him during battles and adventures. First and foremost is his bow. The bow harbors a very futuristic structure, able to bend so Uryu could conserve more space. Along with his bow, Uryu carries these small rod-like squares with handles on the top. These rods have a button and when pressed, the rods expand, forming into an averaged sized arrow. Uryu has a total of 36 rods. Due to being exceptionally talented within the art of kenjutsu, Uryu carries a katana without a hand guard and is usually tucked within Uryu's belt. He also carries a large war fan, with the vandenreich symbol etched on the middle, helping him achieve fuuton jutsus easier and quicker. Lastly, he uses the normal Ninja Pouch, consisting of kunais/senbons/shurikens/smoke bombs etc.
