Yes but alot of more things happend to Kakashi like his dad killing himself. Obito, Rin, Minato, Asuma, are dead.

but wasn't the whole point of kakashi that he never really had friends? He was always a solo type of person just like indra, madara, and sasuke. He walked a lonely path. Even the people in his class, I'm not sure they are his friends as much as simply people he knows. He doesn't seem to care for iruka or any of the others in a seriously profound way. Probably first people he really cared for outside of obito/rin are his students.

That was Kakashi's whole point BEFORE Obito. If Kakashi never really had friends, Kakashi's first lesson to Team 7 would be pointless.

His first lesson to team 7 wasn't friendship, it was teamwork. I know how you will respond but they're not the same thing. Also, my point was that in his whole life, kakashi probably only counted rin/obito as his friends and then went back to his solitary lifestyle until he was assigned team 7, at which point he made friends with them....with the obv exception being gai(probably his only friend for most of his life) even tho in reality, kakashi kinda always kept gai at arms length.

So obviously Guy, Asuma and Kurenai were not his friends, also, if you study his relationship with Jiraiya it seems like friendship to me. While I'll give you that Kakashi's first lesson was about teamwork and loyalty, this doesn't mean Kakashi had no friends after Rin and Obito.
