Yep, makes perfect sense. I guess if I hang out with a bunch of robbers, and I decide that I want to hit a gas station, and one of my crew members decide to shoot and kill an old man. I guess I'm not responsible since I'm not in control of the other guys actions, so it's not my fault and I am not part of it. Point is that I was still part of the incident so I am just as responsible because I was the one who decided to rob the gas station.

Who said anything about taking the blame? I know I didn't kill him, but I'm not in the clear either, as it was my idea to rob the place and I was still involved with the other robbers. If I never volunteered to rob the place then the old man would be alive.

A lot of people did? People were blaming Obito for Minato and Kushina's death when Kurama obviously killed them. Obito and anyone else for tat matter could've summoned Kurama yet nobody would have to die as long as Kurama didn't rampage or no one was controlling him
