[Discussion] Naruto's speed feat in perspective

This one all came down to striking speed. Naruto's foot speed is comparable to Sasuke's teleportation, but instant teleportation is obviously faster (let's be real here, nothing is faster than instant). Naruto made his attack much faster than Sasuke did, which shows that his striking speed surpasses Sasuke's.

0.o how can something be faster than instant?

you also know what ppl call instant ? WHAT THE HUMAN EYE CAN`T SEE. since he is limited in distance, why not in time also ? maybe in seconds, miliseconds and so one it doesn`t make any difference, but even in lower units, u just go deeper and deeper to more lower units and there there will be a difference. in fact, the real problem isn`t this. the real problem is the fact that kishi wanted to give oposing characteristics to naruto and sasuke, naruto to be strong and have andurance, and sasuke to be fast and to be inteligent. yet, he slightly changed all these focusing the body characteristics on naruto and the eye/brain characteristics on sasugay. now, here`s what`s the problem. the PROBLEM is that doujutsu has been nerfed. pretty much. that`s the problem. rinnegan won`t have a chance vs naruto, sharingan barely if let`s say amateratsu touches him, but we know that... you can`t touch him with his speed, genjusu disolved due to bijuus, and tactic and brain it`s kinda useless vs a dude who can pulverize you in 1-2 seconds. you tp escape the 1st second but you have cd and the next second he pulverise you for sure. and susanoo was disolved by kaguya. we all know ps must be stabilized. it`s like you hold 5 sticks with 2 hands. so what kaguya did ? hit him 1 time and destabilised his chakra ? i guess with a chakra arm. i wonder what would naruto do to sasuke susanoo if naruto feeds his susanoo with bijuu-dama rasen shuriken for breakfast. no wonder why he was worried not to hit sasuke. IMAGINE IF SOMEHOW HIS SUSANOO WOULD`VE DISOLVED BECAUSE THE BIJUUDAMA RASEN SHURIKEN would`ve destabilised his susanoo... he would`ve ate some dirt.

Kaguya easily reacts to an instantaneous attack, and easily avoids it.



Lord Naruto gets angry at Kaguya (and you won't like Naruto when he's angry!) and absolutely speed blitzes the **** out of her.

She's not even able to react to a move that Naruto used with his feet. So what this proves is;

1. Naruto's foot speed is superior to Sauce's teleportation
2. Sauce's teleportation, although instant, can be reacted to easily
3. Lord Naruto solo's your fave

what some of you aren't getting is really quite simple. see the major problem with sasuke's technique is that it only works within a certain rang. lets just say for the sake of arguments it's about 15 to 20 yards. within that range he can appear instantaneously as long as his technique is ready. now you have naruto, who has tremendous foot speed. now with his speed, he can actually get to the same place as sasuke within that limited rang. now if we were to push sasuke's rang out to say 100 yards, thats when it will make a difference. now naruto has to actually travel that 100 yard distance where as sasuke actually doesn't travel, he is just instantly there. but since sasuke's range is very limited, his actual speed advantage is nonexistent to somebody at naruto's speed. plus add on to the fact that since sasuke isn't moving until after his jutsu is finished, it actually slows down his attack speed. where as naruto since he is already moving as a better attack speed. there lies the biggest weakness in sasuke's jutsu. thus you have naruto being able to equal or surpass sasuke's speed.

actually, he is as fast as sasuke, because of sasuke's limitations. sasuke's teleportation is instant, but it works within a limited area. naruto is extremely fast, therefore within that rang he will be just as fast as sasuke. but if sasuke's had no rang or at least a bigger one, than there actually would be a speed difference. but as it stands now, due to circumstances, naruto is faster because he doesn't have to teleport than attack. naruto has the advantage of it being one motion but sasuke has to do 2, that being teleporting than attacking. naruto can do both at the same time. for instance say they had to go 100 yards, but sasuke can only go 20 yards at a given teleport. naruto would get to that 100 yard mark before sasuke. why? because naruto is just as fast as sasuke within that 20 yard distance and all naruto has to do is make one quick dart across the field; sasuke on the other hand, has to do multiple teleports, which he has to activate his rennigan ability and see where he is going of course. thus naruto doesnt have any speed loss while sasuke has several in that instance. hope that explains it.

Naruto's attack speed was faster than Sasuke's attack speed, NARUTO'S FOOT SPEED IS DEFINITELY NOT INSTANTANEOUS.

Yes I agree just like how Tobi wasn't able to hit madara ftg and instant movement technique has pauses

Everone also over looks the fact that Naruto covered a much greater distance than Susake did in almost the same amount of time. So technically Sasuke is only faster than Naruto with-in 100m, movement speed wise.

As far as strike speed, common since, which is rare,would point out that the same power-up/bonus that increase his feet also increase his arms and hands. So in conclusion his strike speed is damn near instant too.

I'm not a sasuke fan but maybe he's not as useless as everybody is making him out to be. Sasuke's attack could've been interrupted by the changing gravity when kaguya switched dimensions. If you look closely, he was still in the extreme gravity dimension when he started his chidori. This may have slowed down his attack. He had a good idea tho because she wouldn't have been able to move to dodge his attack in that dimension, so she wouldve been an easy target for sasuke. So, his plan was smart but she switched dimensions so she could escape his attack.

A comparable situation would be to see if naruto could hit and come close to damaging kaguya in that extreme gravity dimension. It didn't look like naruto could do anything in that dimension.

Understand what you are saying but you are in fact referencing Striking speed. For arguments sake lets say for Sasuke it would take .02 Seconds to "instant transmission" to Kaguyas location but he needs an extra .1 seconds to actually attack, this would put his striking speed at .12 whereas Naruto would be able to traverse the same distance in .06 seconds but his attack is almost instantaneous and only requiring .02 seconds to execute, this would put Naruto's striking at .08 seconds which is faster than Sasuke's .12 but the distance speed is favored to sasuke with a .02 over Naruto's .06*

Well technically, Sasuke's teleportation was instantaneous, the attack itself was at a respondable speed, whereas, Naruto was instantaneously attacking. There was no time to respond.

It's not about the speed since both are instantaneous. You can't measure which one's faster. The problem probably lies in how each of them do it. Naruto obviously did something which Kaguya couldn't sense or to which she couldn't react, as opposed to Sasuke.
