I think us Itachi and Obito fans need to end this once and for all. We have been arguing about this for too long when in fact the outcome isn't even debatable. Itachi wins this the same way he always wins his battles with ease. He makes Obito look like a moron and I'm going to prove it. Read it and come up with counters though the truth is.....there aren't any.
Here is what we know about Kamui.
-One eye uses long range Kamui.(this eye is almost completely blind.)
-The other eye uses short Kamui to pull people in and to make Obito intangible in a way.(We have to assume that the vision of this eye is almost completely gone as well)
-With both eyes together the true power is revealed. For Obito that seems to be an increase in speed.
-When he wants to suck someone in, he must materialize.
There are only six ways to counter Kamui. Itachi possess four of them.
1. Genjutsu(You do not need to physically harm Obito just place him under genjutsu)
2. Attack from both the real dimension and Kamui dimension. Basically what Kakashi was doing before the arrival of Madara.
3. Yata mirror.
4. A substitution jutsu assuming the user is fast enough
5. FTG or a similar space time nin jutsu
6. FTC(Flying Thunder Crow. Will be explained fully in detail)
This is Itachi's own version of FTG. It doesn't give him the abilities of FTG but the effects are the same. It's actually much better for battle then the real thing. Please read and find out why before posting.
The FTC a.k.a Flying Thunder Crow in action
Chapter 580, pg. 13,14,15.
How it works:
Basically, when Itachi gets touched/stabbed/attacked by someone, his body bursts into few dozens of crows, which all of them carry a portion of his chakra.
He has few dozens of crows which he can replace with his own physical body, like we see in the 2nd and 3rd pic(FTC in action section)
The crows dont need to gather in order to form Itachi's body, as we can see there are countless crows still around Kabuto while Itachi is blitzing Kabuto with his whole body.
Meaning, he can use this as defense, but he can use this as a technique to blitz the enemy, like we see in the 3rd picture.
Just like FTG can be used to teleport to a tree or other mark away from enemy, for defense, and then the kunai can be thrown behind enemy for blitz.
Reasons why this is better than FTG in 1v1 battles
1. few dozen possible targets to replace(crows) > 1 kunai.
If there one of the crows scattered is nearer to enemy's back, he can pick that one to substitute it and blitz enemy from behind.
If one of the crows is under the enemy, he can pick that one and blitz him from below etc.
There are so many crows around that the enemy will have to watch every single side, even behind him, in order to correctly predict where Itachi is going to blitz from, and it is impossible to do so, even byakugan has a blind spot...
Whereas Minato can only throw so many kunai's around the battle field but he can only blitz enemy with only 1 kunai in the air.
2. The enemy can drop their guard after thinking they actually landed a hit on Itachi.
3. And due to many crows flying about, a perfect Sage got distracted, not because of landing a hit, but simply because the crows disturb the target.
4. Instead of cutting Kabuto's horn, he could've easily slit his throat, but Kabuto was not allowed to be killed, rather just subtly attacked. Therefore, Itachi couldn't slit his throat to kill him, in this category, FTC at the very least can provide openings as useful/deadly as FTG.
Conclusion:
Besides the mentioned points above, after seeing a perfect snake SM (user), which provides super-enhanced sensory abilities, got blitzed and easily could've get his throat slit, do you really think someone with normal(inferior) sensing abilities or sensing abilities provided by other SM(inferior) or one with none at all(Obito)cannot be blitzed by FTC?
Itachi easily counters long range Kamui(Yata Mirrior) and the short range Kamui is also easily countered.(FTC & Substitution)
In a real battle, Itachi would simply use FTC the moment Obito touched him and blitz him. After all Obito must materialize in order to suck him in. It will be similar to the Minato fight. Think about it, Itachi is actually the worst enemy Obito could face. He has 4 counters to Kamui, no one else possess's this.
Really quickly I want to mention Tsukyomi. In my own personal opinion Obito can break out of it.
Requirements:
Sharingan
Uchiha blood
Obviously you need to have the ability or the power to break it.
Obito meets these requirements, however that doesn't mean he can't be placed IN Tsukyomi. He can and it's not an instant break out either. Sasuke is proof of that. All Itachi needs is one second.
You also need to consider that when Sasuke "broke" Tsukyomi his eyes were perfect. His vision wasn't impaired and he had spent several years training them specifically for Tsukyomi.
You could argue that Obito knowing about Itachi's abilities has prepared himself in some way to handle Tsukyomi but you can't argue that his vision isn't almost gone. That could hamper his ability to break it and thus increase the time it will take.
Conclusion: If you didn't read and just skipped to this you're not going to understand. Get back up there and read. Itachi uses FTC similar to how Minato did against Obito in their fight and blitzes him. Or he takes advantage of that moment to put Obito under Tsukyomi. Either way this is a quick battle. Itachi wins.
