Madara was the coolest villain this series had

Madara SHOULD have been this manga's final villain. At no point during this current arc did I feel like I was on the edge of my seat. Kaguya has been boring and underwhelming. The previous arc, The Juubidara arc, FELT like it was an end game arc. That FELT like it was going to be the last stand.

This? This feels like DLC. Like an add-on. Like fanfic.

Ugh. Am I alone, here? Has this "final fight" been really, REALLY underwhelming for anyone else?

I agree with most of what you said nonetheless. Madara should have been the final antagonist of the series. Having that however, I think while Kagyua is not good so far, and is boring, it's still been like 10 chapters or less since she made her debut. I still think she has great potential, and I hope she gets the focus that she needs. The only thing I liked from her was when she cried thinking of her children, that was pretty neat and interesting.

I, personally, think that Orochimaru would've made the better villain. He's not too OP, he's just hard to put down. Plus, he actually had a villain feel to him.

Funnily enough, that is exactly one of the main things I love and appreciate about the antagonists of the series, they are no simple black characters, they are more morally complex and interesting than that, unlike other shounen like FT, Bleach, One Piece, DB, etc.

Although there have been some normal villains like Deidara, Kakzu, Hidan, etc. For some nice variety.

madara went out with a hand thru his back from being betrayed while screaming, obito died with a hand on his back to help him while smiling.

madara was too arrogant and cocky for me. hated his smirks. obito had actual connections to the characters from the very begining
