He's to selfish now for all that. And I feel one of the biggest reason Naruto is out shinning him is because sasuke hasn't really found any one to fight for out of love and compassion. The same reason the younger son was able to obtain more power than the elder. If sasuke chose to die for some one else he would probably unlock a new power, but I see Naruto dying for him to really turn his selfish personality around.
