So this is the schedule for August(as of now):
8/6= Chapter 688
8/13=Break of WSJ
8/20=Chapter 689

Actually this year Obon fall on the 13 of August all Japanese Holidays use the Lunar Calendar not the solar calendar and this year it falls in mid August.

Actually this year Obon fall on the 13 of August all Japanese Holidays use the Lunar Calendar not the solar calendar and this year it falls in mid August.

We would usually get the chapter on the 13th, but in japan it's would have been released on the 18th, hence why we don't get one on the 13th

Of course it is. It's every year the same. There are four 'double issues' a year.

#04-05 no WSJ in the last week of Dec.
#06-07 No WSJ in the second week of January
#22-23 No WSJ in the first week of May
#36-37 or #37-38 First week of August.
