Why are some people trying to excuse away Obito's crimes now?

I've been noticing a lot of posts defending or even waving away Obito's previous actions in several threads.Some people were even excusing his actions that caused the deaths of Naruto's parents by saying it was "Kid Obito". As if that is supposed to be some justification.

Obito may have died this chapter, but let's not sweep the things he did under the rug and pretend it didn't happen.

killing naruto's parents > attack konoha (many people are dead ) > start a world war. sure over 80.000 shinobi's are dead + shika's dead and those squad in there. Do you want me to keep going or just except the fact he is a loser/faillure and tried to be nice in the end since he got fodderized by BSM naruto and EMS sasuke ? Lol

Yeah,Obito's death was sad but nobody should be praising him as a hero.His actions can never be fully excused.

Without him Sasuke would still be lost in the other world and both Naruto and Sasuke are needed to defeat Kayguya.

Do you know how many families Kakashi has destroyed?
Do you know how many families Itachi has destroyed?
