I mean that's kind of like saying Hitler was the coolest guy... That made me think that Naruto might be suffring from one of these illnesses:

Alzheimers - It's not the first time he forgot something really fast.
Stockholm Syndrom - He's known for suddenly becoming friends with the enemy.
Brain cancer - He's getting delusional pretty often

It's also likely that he has all 3 of these illnesses, poor guy :/.
On the other hand he might just be a retard... Lol

OT: Naruto knew that all he wanted was peace as well, but in another way than what Naruto wanted it in. Naruto understand that Obito went trough tons of stuffs during his lifespan. They said that Obito and Naruto was very alike however the different is that Obito gave up later on and Naruto did not, therefore they can connect themselves with each others in many ways.

But in the end it is about knowing your enemy.
