A majority of Naruto fans respect, admire, and even worship Teuchi, aka Ramenguy. Teuchi is a citizen in Konohagakure and the owner of the ramen shop that Naruto visits, Ramen Ichiraku. He is a father figure to Naruto and one of his first companions.
Recently. my friend who considers herself a "Naruto Scholar" has taken interest in that character. She acknowledges Ramenguy as the first friend of Naruto, as Naruto is his regular customer and even gives him freebies. His kind and jovial manner has, controversially, saved Naruto from darkness and prevented him from being an evil character.
However, our theory is that Ramenguy has a secret ingredient in his ramen that makes people forget about their worries and induces feelings of joy.
A time ago, Sasuke was chasing after Itachi in a time of distress. He stopped by as Ramen Ichikaru. We know he later reunites with Itachi, thus a turning point of Sasuke leaving the village and plunging into darkness.
If Ramenguy had quickly offered Sasuke free ramen with an overdose of the secret ingredient, Sasuke may have not been a bad guy today, he would have forgotten about his traumatizing childhood and be in an ocean of ecstasy.
In brief, Teuchi aka Ramenguy aka Old man could have eased Sasuke's burden with his secret ingredient and prevent him from being a bad guy, like he did to Naruto.
Teuchi should have offered him free ramen.
