Any ideas on what they're doing over in the original dimension?

I bet that Hagoromo is being lent the Kages' Chakra so he can undo the Infinite Tsukuyomi. I mean, he most likely was the one who did it when Kaguya originally cast the Jutsu. Him or Hamura.
But I hope he's doing something more complex... maybe even dastardly u_u

Don't know, you might be right though. Also I think it could be something with Hamura or something.

It's hard to make assumptions because anything can happen, but I know that it HAS to do something with madara's lower half

If you can see the patterns, you can accurately foresee the manga's direction - right to the end of Kaguya.
