Sasukes rinnegan?

Can he switch it on or off or is his eye like that forver? I remember madara switching his rinnegan off, but i am not sure if that was in the manga.

Not to mention sasuke's rinnegan is quite different,

I think you mean in the anime when Madara used eye genjutsu on Ay in the 5 kage battle.
I don't think rinnegan can be switched in general.

He obviously can, it's the same as switching from EMS to regular sharingan or from sharingan to regular eyes.

Well we saw what happened with Nagatos rinnegan and Kakashis MS. And both were from external souces too. Maybe the same will happen with Sasuke.

i think what he means is switching back to normal, not to EMS. if to ems, we all know madara did that

anyway sasuke can still use EMS technique, so why change it to EMS/even back to normal?

I don't think he! and madara could only switch off the fake rinnengan, the juubi one couldn't! So sasuke rinnengan = Juubi madara rinnengan
