[Discussion] Would Itachi use the Rinnegan better than Sasuke ?

The Rinnegan is a very powerful tool in the hands of a competent user. The techs displayed so far by Sasuke have been very underwhelming. I know not every Rinnegan is the same, but every Rinnegan does have common techs that can be performed by all users. The manga has yet to confirm that Sasuke even knows how to do the basic techs that all the other Rinnegan users can do. This is obviously a problem and raises a very important issue regarding skill and intelligence.

Itachi was considered a genius, and a very skilled Dōjutsu user. Itachi clearly mastered his eye power at an early age, while other characters struggled to do simple basic techs with similar eyes. If Itachi had been blessed with a Rinnegan it would not be difficult to imagine what he would have done. Its very easy to see the issue that Sasuke has with his lack of Rinnegan techs. Sasuke simply doesn't have the intelligence or skill to properly handle the Rinnegan.

Kishimoto really made a huge mistake by not giving Itachi the Rinnegan.
