The way sasuke has been acting right now, something really bugs me about him.

Clearly Sasuke did not have the same answer as naruto and he gave a different answer. He is definitely up to something which we don't know about.
I like this "mystery" about sasuke and i want to ask NB what you think he is upto!

And please don't say he wants to use IT for himself, it would be lame and retarded plus he already told madara he don't like his methods when madara asked him to come to his side.
It would also contradict his willingness to destroy the bijjus , so yeah this is definitely not the reason.

I am also thinking about this and i would love to know your opinion!

I had a better answer whenever the chapter first came out. But I think this is an answer that sounds realistically from Sasuke and an answer that the Sage would approve of.

Initially i thought they would lead to the same thing but it is also possible he hide his true intentions from the sage.

What i am curious to know about is what is sasuke actually upto ?

Nah, he wouldn't do this. Hagoromo wanted their honest opinions, and Sasuke never lied in the manga.

The only thing I can think of that would be acceptable to Hogoromo is if Sasuke pulled an Itachi role and answered "I want to protect my little brother" (referring to Naruto).

Any other answer, and it becomes that Hagoromo just gave Sasuke power because he pities how he treated Indra (which is what happened anyway, but if Sasuke's answer was like above, it's to a much lesser extent than had he not answered that way)
