We actually have the Foxo gene already, do dogs already have the foxp2 gene? It would be awesome if we had talking dogs, that way my dog could just ask me for stuff and not breath heavily and whine.

It's not true immortality.

The best way to achieve immortality is through cryonics. Anything else carries too much risk, but with the aforementioned, you have better chances for the long haul.
