I don't understand why people think that obito was scared of itachi. They always use the 'konoha is no longer off limits' scan which is a mistranslation and not represented in the viz version as well as the 'if itachi had know my secret I would have died' scan that really shouldn't be cropped because obito basically says itachi is just a failure in the very next frame.

Why must we explain it to you fan boys over and over again. Obito WAS not afraid of itachi. He was just merely cautious and it was because I viz translation error that this idiotic fact was released. Why would an MS uchiha with wood style, hashirama's dna, juubi sized katon and a rinnegan bearing uzumaki with him be scared of a guy who cant keep a susanoo up for 10 min
