i will explain why i think that
kakshi in the start of the chapter felt he is useless later he wanted to be useful by protecting naruto and sasuke but obito prevented him
so when you think about it 'he will do something other than sacrificing himself ,i dont think he is going to be useless in the upcoming chapters ,if that was true ,then why kishi made several panels to show kakashi fealing toward his uselessness
i think ksihi have a role for kakashi,that is why he made sasuke save him from the IT ,he surly has something to do in the upcoming chapters

I'm a huge Kakashi fan and I don't have an issue with any of this. Kakashi's character is finally at peace and even better, he stays alive. The memory he once had of his comrade is now legit, rather than Obito living and becoming the world's enemy. His friend has once again put his life on the line, except this time it is because of Naruto, through the teachings of Kakashi that he passed down from Obito himself. It's all come full circle.

Kakashi was a prodigy before the Sharingan and I hated seeing him use Kamui too much so I'm glad the eye is gone. Sasuke is my fav, Kakashi is my 2nd fav. I thought it was pretty rude what Sasuke did to Kakashi but it was necessary. Sasuke was trying to keep Kakashi out of the way so Naruto wouldn't get any distractions. And as a reader of the manga, I'm glad Sakura is finally being of use. She's been utterly useless most of the series while Kakashi has been on point, time and time again. A switch in roles for an arc doesn't bother me in the slightest, Kakashi is still that n**** in my book.

I disagree about the part where you said it was necessary what Sasuke said to Kakashi. Kakashi is not some imbecile. He would know to stay out of the way against the enemy without Sasuke trash talking him. He even said previously "I won't be of much use in this battle".

I hate how people seem to think that Sakura and Kakashi would have just rushed in saying "I am going to solo Kaguya" if Sasuke had not trash talked them. They have brains and they are not infants!

Sasuke's trash talk was just his usual arrogance. Nothing more. If Sasuke was really just trying to keep them safe, then he could have just said "It would be best for you to not get involved with the battle" and not "You're useless, there's nothing you can do." or "Just shut up and let me lead".

From all Charakters Kakashi is the most Strongest and smartest charakter who has no Clan or Blodline Who has lost many things..
and who is still alive and in action of this war Maybe u dont like that but all others has no more use in this war than kakashi,Sakura,Naruto,4 Kages or Sasuke
Kishi will give Kakashi Powerup(Pousible in next ep) than i wuld love to see how such hater wuld react.

The way Nagato went out (shinra tensei) was pretty shitty he deserved better.
Itachi went out the right way.
Madara getting trolled by BZ was shitty too.
