Is it me or is Kaguya really bad at picking a dimension that gives her an advantage. Both Black Zetsu and her want to kill Naruto and Sasuke as quickly as possible, but she goes through at least 3 different dimensions, significantly draining her chakra in the process. Then we see this dimension through Obito.

An acid dimension. If she had went here it would have probably been over quick. Naruto and Sasuke are the only individuals that can fly (I don't think I saw any land, there maybe one in that dimension or it's just a sea of acid) but the others would be potentially screwed. I mean it's a much better strategy than just hopping dimensions and wasting chakra at this stage. For the creator and master of everything NV, she's not really showcasing it at this point.

Yeah it's evident that Kagaya is sandbagging. Although I doubt if she is running low on chakra or even is being pushed with chakra. She has some other plot that must have to require more chakra, whatever that must be.

This. Hence why she is a horrible villain; she should be unbeatable but like you said she is rather retarded due to plot. It'd be nice if she had one more OP ability, Pein's power comes to mind, to make her interesting rather than being a god like whack a mole.

if you're looking for a master strategist in combat (or even decent one) then Kaguya is not the character you should focus on hmm.
