You can also talk about What do you think about Orochimaru? does he have a role to play, or is he done? should he have smth do to?

Also the jubi? Should Kishi have handled that situation differently?

I too am starting to think that Kaguya is not the final villain but that it is who ever she needs the Zetsu army to defeat. Although that brings up the question of whether BZ will betray her too and really be working for the one she needs to defeat. It's been used a bit too much but lately we've found out that many people have been played.

I also thought the best part of Kaguya so far was the crying scene. It made you realize that she had really loved her sons at some point and while she wanted her chakra back she did not really want to kill them. As powerful as she is they would have been dead if that's what she really wanted.

Madara is Kishimotos masterpiece. Ever since Naruto vs Sasuke pt 1, he has been developing Madaras character through Obito, Nagato, Fourth Mizukage, Fourth World War, flashbacks etc., Kaguya is not the FV. Kishi (who is an Uchiha enthusiast) will give Madara a proper farewell.

The series will end with Naruto vs. Sasuke. However i do believe Oro will take Sasukes body ( Riku and Ansem from Kingdom Heart) and this will be Narutos final opponent.

Thanks for reminding, I just read the thread and it was great. Makes a lot of sense and I actually never realized how much knowledge oro has tbh.

I hope madara does have a proper farewell, he deserves better. That's a nice take on the ending. What would happen after that? Sasuke would be dead and naruto hokage?

Predicting the end of Naruto and future events of the manga is pretty difficult as Kishi is quite unpredictable.

At this point we know that Naruto and Sasuke will be able to successfully activate the seal against Kaguya due to the WSJ Preview. We know that the mechanics of the seal change the Juubi (or in this case Kaguya) into the core of Chibaku Tensei. As Kaguya has recently transferred Team 7 + Obito (RIP) to a gravity dimension, the enhanced forces could possibly disrupt the seal as CT itself is a gravitational jutsu. Anyway, I don't see the seal being totally effective; perhaps it will only weaken Kaguya. When this happens, Kaguya will most likely attempt to return the real world in order to absorb more chakra from the victims of the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

This leaves us with Madara's return, and the meeting with Hagoromo and the Hokages.

For Madara's return there are several options: he could be revived with Edo-tensei, he could be restored by Hagoromo, or he causes problems for Kaguya and BZ from the inside.

~Edo-Tensei is the least likely option IMO as Tobirama’s version of the technique is far inferior to that of Orochimaru or Kabuto’s. Also a living sacrifice would be needed for the jutsu; though this could be obtained via Spiral Zetsu, or the single White Zetsu who got his arm taken by Madara. If Madara is still alive within Kaguya, then ET would not work.

~Being restored by Hagoromo is more likely. So far only Kaguya has been able to access her dimensions via the 9T Rinnegan. Sasuke, with only 6T has not been able to break the barriers between dimensions. Madara having the 9T Rinnegan is the only one able to access those dimensions. As to how Hagoromo may try to go about doing this, I will reference the effect of Hagoromo’s presence on the chakra of the Bijuu in Naruto. Naruto first received the chakra of the 2-7 tailed beasts over 100 chapters ago, but they were not conscious within him until Naruto’s meeting with Hagoromo.

Hagoromo stated that he did not have enough chakra for whatever technique he is going to perform, so he may get this from the Hokages or by tapping into the chakra from the Shinju. Hagoromo may be able to use the Limbo clone sealed by Naruto with the Jiton: Rasengan (assuming it hasn’t dispersed) along with additional chakra to revive Madara.

~The last option is quite self-explanatory. With Kaguya being totally defeated or weakened by the upcoming seal, Madara may have the chance to take back control.

So either way, Madara returns and aides Naruto and Sasuke against Kaguya somewhat like an enemy of my enemy is my friend, or he overcomes Kaguya to become the final villain.

Once Madara and/or Kaguya are defeated, TNJ’d or whatever, I believe the final conflict between Naruto and Sasuke will be over what will become of chakra. Throughout the manga, Sasuke has sought to resolve his issues by directly eliminating the source of said issues. At first it was Itachi who killed the Uchiha, then the elders/Danzo (after learning Itachi’s truth), Konoha, and finally Naruto.

This was before he was changed by his meeting with Itachi after which he went to seek out the truth about Shinobi, and the village system. These answers were provided by the Edo-Hokages making Sasuke choose to protect the Leaf, as well as want to become Hokage. In this case, he wanted to get rid of the flawed village system, hence his “burn it down” comment. After meeting the Sage, as well as learning about Black Zetsu’s manipulation of history, he likely views Kaguya (her power) as the source of all problems.

When all is said and done (Madara/Kaguya/BZ defeated), everyone will need to be released from IT. However, the massive quantity of chakra that was taken will likely prevent those people from continuing to be Shinobi. I think that the chakra left over after Kaguya’s defeat will be the point of controversy between Naruto and Sasuke. Naruto will want to re-disperse the chakra back to the people (as Hagoromo did), while Sasuke will want to keep it for himself, or possibly permanently seal that chakra away as to prevent another Madara/Kaguya.

Once again the transmigrants of Indra and Ashura would battle, though this time will be different (BZ’s meddling with the transmigrants would be over).This time Naruto will be able to successfully change Sasuke. I believe the battle would most likely take place before the IT is released and is likely to be located at the VoTE for symbolic purposes. By this time, Naruto may have regained Yang-Kurama, and Sasuke may have a second Rinnegan or an evolved Rinnegan (6T—9T).

Naruto and Sasuke would be evenly matched for most of the fight. However, their connection via the opposing forces of Yin/Yang will allow them to feel each other’s emotions throughout the battle. Naruto will begin to remember all those who helped him along as a Shinobi (Haku/Zabuza/Gaara/Kakashi/Hiruzen/Jiraiya/etc.) Eventually, as so many others before him, Sasuke will begin to be changed by Naruto. So for the most part, I agree with your ending.

Orochimaru's character will also have to be resolved in the ending. Many people will joke about Orochimaru having pedophilic dreams within the IT. However, I think he will dream about the thing he has always desired most: his parents. This way, the IT will act as a means to change Orochimaru's character for the better, and we will get to learn of Orochimaru's true motives.

Sorry, I don't get how it's full of errors. The point of the thread was to discuss how we feel about the current ending and let a chance for everyone to describe how they would have done it.

We described how we would have ended it and others added their thoughts and came up with even better ideas. He might not have promised a fight but in "our ending" that's what we would like to see.

A specific ending I guess would have to be Naruto and Sasuke standing together on top of the Hokage Monument. During Hashirama's flashbacks, we got to see that the mountain where the faces are carved is the place where Hashirama and Madara used to meet as kids. After the village was created, we got to see a scene of the two together there discussing the addition of the Shimura and Sarutobi clans to the village. Soon after Hashirama was made Hokage (and his face carved), Madara left the Leaf, and Hashirama was shown sitting by himself on the monument.

I think it would be a nice ending to see Naruto and Sasuke together watching over the post-war Leaf Village. The panel would zoom out showing Naruto's face carved on the mountainside. This time is different as Sasuke is supporting Naruto's role as the Hokage. Unlike with Hashirama and Madara, Naruto and Sasuke would be cooperating together and working towards a better future.

As for things I would have changed.

~I would have like to seen more of the other Villages throughout the manga. Maybe the other K11 members/teams could have gotten missions that would have made them interact with Shinobi from the other great nations. This way there would be more development for the side characters that were neglected until the war-arc.

~More information on the Uzumaki clan. This is something we may still get in the upcoming chapters with Hamura's possible connection to that clan.

~I would have gotten rid of the whole transmigration thing as well. It felt too repetitive and forced for my liking.

- YES I would love to see more about them and I think we will. I was also thinking of minato's background, like his clan, and I doubt we will see that but that would be nice too

Her son Hagoromo is on the battlefield and as are the reincarnations of her grandsons.

I was referring more to the people she's fighting RIGHT NOW. She has no emotional past with Naruto or Sasuke aside from the fact that they are her grandsons reincarnations.

Like Obito, Being the cause of Naruto's parents death.

Instead of giving global expectations i'll briefly go through the most important characters being focused right now or i'll forget many stuff and i'll never get out of here:

Kaguya - I'm not sure whether i want her to get sealed, realize the pain she's caused and get the chance to apologize or get a change of heart, undo her deeds and somehow finally disappear. All i know is that i want her to have redeeming qualities like all the other main villains before but at the same time for her crimes with her existence (her disappearance/death/sacrifice would also give her closure by sending her next to her sons).

Naruto - I want to see him being ackowledged (this time by the whole world) and become Hokage (that's the whole point of the manga right?), but i want to see him offering the place to Sasuke and through an agreement both get to share the place.
Other than that i'd like to see him adressing Hinata and ask her to be his wife.

Sasuke - I want him to share the same attention as Naruto and be forgiven by his peers, kages, etc... Then i want him to fight with Naruto over who should be Hokage and when they stalemate, reach the conclusion that a union would be most beneficial to the village.
I'd also like to see him accepting Karin as his wife.

Sakura - I want Tsunade to ackowledge that she finally got surpassed and in a sense pass the torch to her. If she could give Lee a chance to be her lover that would be great.
Other than that she can lead the medical corps in Konoha and serve as one of the backbones of the village together with Naruto and Sasuke.
