Orochimaru should have stayed with Akautski

Madara's power is cool, yes. But... how does that make a character? Madara's character is just a guy who has the exact same goal from the last main antagonist, speeches that are taken straight from Aizen and Orochimaru's book, and Uchiha arrogance all in one. Power is the only cool thing about him. It's all stale and over done.
And what of Kaguya? What makes her better than Orochimaru as a character?

What has Madara taken from Oro? Oro never talks about philosophy and world peace or even gives speeches that much. As for Aizen, I don't know much about him because I don't keep up with Bleach.

Anyway, power is only apart of the equation. A good villain (notice that I have different expectations for villains than normal side characters) is also able to properly plan things out and make the right decisions to achieve their goals. Strategy is key. I know that you may think that I don't seem to care about personality, but to me, a villain's intellectual and planning skills along with their dedication and philosophy are key aspects of their personality as well. Power is the cherry on top because it makes for entertaining fights.

A villain that ultimately succeeds with their goal (like Madara casting infinite tsukuyomi or even Plankton taking over Bikini Bottom in the spongebob movie) is a golden villain to me even if they get stopped at the end! The fact that they succeeded shows that they put in the effort, planned everything perfectly and even had the power and brains to back it up!

That is what I like in a villain and in a character (if you are wondering, my qualities for side characters like Hinata are different).

You asked what makes Kaguya better than Oro. Kaguya intelligently created Black Zetsu and through him orchestrated just about all of the conflict in the shinobi world throughout centuries and ultimately succeeded in being revived and getting the chakara back! That is a major feat.

Meanwhile, Oro has virtually no accomplishments. He is all hype and no delivery. That is what makes him such a disappointing character. He had so much potential, but he just blows it all away!

This is why I think the way I do.
