Hypothetical Pairing question

Okay, so im throwing this out to whoever wants to chime in. This is something I intended to ask the people in the romantic pairngs thread but...yeah as you may well imagine its a total warzone. And im wondering everyones opinion anyways.

Let's assume this is the cannon pairings for the main characters after the latest chapter


SasuSaku (Barf. )

NaruHina


Now. The question is, Are you disappointed with those?


For me, personally I am. I am a NaruSaku shipper and I will freely admit that. I don't hate Hinata, nor do I bash any NaruHina fans. To each their own. But for me? I just think, after everything we have seen character development wise out of the old team 7, neither of these work. Yes, Naruto and hinata had a nice hand holding moment. But guess what? Other than that, and her fighting Pain, I can't remember off the top of my head any other major ones that would indicate it. Im talking actual Manga chapters here. Not the AU full color covers, OVAs etc. And SasuSaku is even worse for it. Combine that AU cover with Sasuke catching her and the flame wars are already in full swing -_-' I do still believe that NaruSaku is NOT DEAD BECAUSE OF A COVER. I could go on and on why I believe this way but I think this post is long enough

I like sakura, which means i'm torn.

I don't like Naruto so I don't want her to be with him, but he's the main character and I want her to end up on top.
I do like Sasuke so I want her to be with him, but he's only the deurteragonist and I want her to end up on top.

It's a tough question. Although I HATE Hinata, so no matter what I want her to end up sad and alone.

I just think after everything Sasuke is done, why does he have to end up with anyone? He doesn't seem a fit to a pairing. IF you must have him with someone why not Karin? She's put up with more stuff for Sasuke than any other girl considering Sasuke STABBED her with his chidori stream and she still obviously wants him.

As for interactions that were notable.


1. Hinata telling him she doesn't want him to disappear (Written Exam)

2. Telling him how he's a proud failure, and that's what makes him strong (Pre-Naruto vs Neji)

3. Confession (Naruto vs Pain)

4. Pimp slap conversation (Neji's Death)


Each time Hinata helped Naruto from backing down and helped Naruto reassure himself. They may not Auto-Declare a ship, but it shows that Hinata genuinely cares for Naruto, and that they've actually had notable interaction. Keeping it from being, "I secretly admire you, and after ky confession you'll love me." There were actually moments before the confession in which she actually helps Naruto and Naruto appreciates it.

You savvy?! Hopefully it made sense.

But Kishi has made Sakura and Kakashi save his butt, those two who sasuke doesn't care about, as he shows in his demanor. I think sasuke will come to good terms with team 7.

NaruHina and SasuSaku is where everyone will be requited.

NaruHina had a fair amount of moments. It wasent all lovey dubey but it was cute enough. Like this guy said it was mostly cheering Naruto up and building up his confidence.

Narusaku kids look more adorable than naruhina kids but I'd like it if naruto ended up with hinata.

I seriously think that Naruto will/should end up with Hinata because to me, it just feels like a healthier, more lovable relationship. Naruto lacked a lot of basic childhood building blocks/had a lot of gaps in his early years (you know like love, a family, hope, emotional/confidence boost, mutual respect and most of all encouragement), and ending up with Hinata is a good chance for him to fill up all the holes that should have been filled long ago. That, and Hinata has always been emphasized in the "shoujo parts" of the manga aka. the core moments of what builds up into a manga/anime-based romantic relationship.

Consider Hinata like an all-in-one package; she has everything Naruto will ever need to fully develop into a better person. In all actuality, Hinata has already started on it, and well, finally having a relationship with him would just make things sound/look more official.


Not that Sakura can't do all that, but Hinata would do a much better job at it. And plus, a better cook. What man would not appreciate that <3

Op you know you could've just posted this on the pairing thread? We kinda need more people there to place there input on why they support what they support.
