susano is pointless shit move. it was so badass when Solo King use it and he had weapons for it and he used it sparingly.

Sasko made it so boring.

Rasengan is the go-to move because it works. It's versatility and practicality make it a perfect jutsu. One nearly has to add a different chakra nature to it and it can become whatever the user wants it to be. The damage is massive and it's a one shot kill move in nigh every form, seeing Kabuto swallowing one and Mu getting blasted by Planetary Rasengan. It's still fresh because of this.

Susano'o, though, I must agree has become a bit... boring. I initially enjoyed it when Itachi blocked Kirin with ribcage version, and Madara's PS was awesome. But now it's become stagnant and the options for it are low. Shisui's looks promising though.

I think they're both fine honestly.

I really think the only reason you guys think this way about this kind of thing is because either you're young and haven't watched or read many shows before or you're just that easily turned off by repetitiveness I guess.

No disrespect to anyone's opinion, that's just mine. For me, I understand that signature moves are to be expected in action series like this. It's creates familiarity and distinction for characters. I've been watching various shows ever since I was a kid and it's the same thing for all of them. Pikachu's Thunderbolt, Goku's Kamehamehah, etc. That's just how it is. I guess after awhile you just stop looking at it as "boring" or not.

As for Naruto, there is a vast majority of moves, but few of them are honestly all that deep or intricate. You can name some with notable varieties compared to other jutsu, but it's all pretty straight forward stuff. Besides, if you add too many changes to something, eventually it will become something else altogether. If you didn't see Rasengan or Susanoo as often, chances are most of you would think they're cool and want to see more simply because it's not shown as much. If Naruto's special move was Mokuton instead of Rasengan, most of you would probably be over that by now too. To me, if your reason for them being "boring moves" is you don't like seeing it all the time, then the move itself might not be boring, you would just like to see other things is all

They aren't boring and that's what makes the series interesting. But I respect your opinion.

Ummm let's just say there's a reason Kishimoto saved the Perfect Susanoo til the end of the Kage/Maddy fight. Because it's a stupid tank that instantly shuts down any interesting fight sequence.

Its a boring tech made for noobs, its basically plot armor taking a form.
there's no real skill to Susanoo other than going into a armor and slash everything.

No.

Susanoo is very cool. It's not just for melee fight, it has long range attacks like Yasaka no Magatama and Sasuke's arrow.

Mm I can agree with this. Sadly Kishi uses it in these kinda fights. VS Kabuto, VS the 5 Kage, VS Gaara....it's not great 80% of the time it's used.

Hell he even had Sasuke use it to walk through a door at one point.

The form fitting susano would be beast. Especially if sasuke used kyuubi cloak and wrapped form fitting susano around that

i'm seeing a number of opinions that are basically telling me they are mad that others beside Itachi was allowed to have one and not because the technique is actually boring.
Rasengan is a cool move. It's tough as hell to learn and is a condensed TBB in your hand, the variations make it interesting even in it's overuse.

Susanoo is trash and if any person uses it in battle, the fight immediately just becomes everyone dancing around a giant untouchable tank...it's annoying and the origins of it were never even explored. Why does it look like an ancient japanese warrior? Are these spirits? actual dead people? Myths?

It's boring and makes fights boring to watch. I noticed this especially around the Kage Summit arc.
if you hadn't noticed/heard, they are supposed to look like tengu warriors; which are said to be the ancestors of ninja. Which is fitting, since the Uchiha are direct descendants of the guy who is responsible for the creation of ninjutsu.
