At the end of the day they probably never even gave a shít. If you had good qualifications, your chances of being brought in where high regardless of your background. People seem to think having no straight people or no gay people (or anything relatable being gender, ethnicity etc.) implies discrimination, all apart of that "I think I treat everyone equally so I find something which I can pick on regardless of its authenticity as evidence of my unrivalled and immeasurable affection for equality." Fûck off m8. For one, the accuracy of the premise of discrimination is in doubt. Two, absolute equality doesn't exist and it never will, the diversity of human nature doesn't allow for it.
