The fact that he survives didn't prove crap man. Dude had 5 hearts and only 4 masks. Hashi probably took him out 4 times and the dude played dead.

If I recalled correctly, he didin't have the hearts before he fought hashi.

Except Hashi was that strong. Like Madara in the flashbacks at like 12 both were already capable of taking out adult shinobi vetrans. Plus he an Ashura transmigrant. Even fighting Hashi as a teen was probably more than a challenge for Kakuzu. Not to downgrade Kakuzu's power or anything.

When did Kakuzu fight him? Because Base hashirama was able to fight on par/beat EMS madara(without the kyuubi) PRIOR to becoming hokage. I am absolutely certain Kakuzu was sent to assassinate him after he became the hokage, in which case the fight would be a stomp.(since ems madara is way above kakuzu)

It's like saying "I survived the Nagasaki bombing in WWII", it doesn't make me Batman. Base Hashirama held his own against EMS Madara and the Kyuubi simultaneously, and then gained the upper hand after entering Sage Mode; do you really think Kakuzu is going to be problematic?

yes true, but before that. Madara's dad mentioned that Madara was already felling adult shinobi at the time madara revealed to him his Sharingan. And Madara told Izuna that Hashi was stronger than him before their bitter rivalry came to a head.

So if they were both capable of killing vertran shinobi at that age. I assume Hashi was pretty damn strong as an adolescent and teen. So at whatever age Kakuzu took on Hashi, Hashi was already pretty strong. At least that's my theory. I can't really prove that.

It was already said after he failed to kill hashirama his village discraced him and tortured him or something like that. Than he stole the secret forbidden jutsu and took the elders hearts and left.

OT im sure he put up a decent fight. It wasn't a rofl stomp, kakuzu probably got a hit or 2 dodged some attack, whipped out a surprise jutsu. Then hashi does a jutsu that badly fks kakuzu up. Like darkness genjutsu followed by a beating or something.

Kakuzu got the Kinjutsu to get the hearts and beome immortal after he got beaten by Hashirama because he was shamed by the village. So Kakuzu did not have the ability of the hearts/masks back then.

Kakuzu was young at that age, and didn't possess Jiongu. Current Kakuzu would be defeated High Diff by Hashirama.

no its liek saying, ms sasuke goes to fight ems madara and survives. it shows that sasuke was strong enough to survive the fight and not get murdered
