[Discussion] Post time skip strength,luffy,zoro

After looking at all these smoker/zoro comments, i was wondering, strictly post time skip, what tells us that zoro is weaker than luffy? in MY own opinion, ive seen that oda doesnt want to show us the full strength of either luffy nor zoro yet, they have yet to go all out, luffy has shown more than zoro, for example beating chinjao, but chin him self said he has no hope for luffy if he cant beat him after losing his fangs, aka he isnt as strong as he used to be, none the less beating someone who has conquering haki and had/has a (i think)500,000,000 million belli bounty, is impressive in terms of showing us luffys potential. and taking on pika low diff, has shown us zoros great potential. what im getting at is, people are saying things like luffys>= smoker, so zoro must be < than smoker. (off topic, based off of smokeres recent showing of strength against vergo, i think hes weaker than both zoro and luffy) anyways, zoro is supposed to be the worlds greatest swordsman one day, we have no clue of just how far he has gotten in these last two years, id even go as far as presuming he has conquering haki as well. EITHER WAY the bottom line is we have no real way of knowing who is stronger....except for the idea that the captain is usually stronger than his vice captain, but i believe one peice is about growing, and i believe there is a good chance that luffy and zoro are complete equals at this point of the story, and theres a slight chance that zoro is ahead, regardless i strongly believe if that is the case, luffy will most certainly pass zoro at one point in the story, does any one else see how we have nothing showing us that luffy is the strongest of the straw hats. i feel the flame coming, becasue people wont be able to accept the idea of a a vice captain being stronger than the captain for any length of time, but i figured id see if there are any fans who would be willing to humor the idea. i wonder if anyone else believes Oda would state that zoro is stronger than luffy at this point of the story as a part of the story line...those are my only questions, granted they are only being asked so this isnt a complete rant.

I don't know anything about One piece but could you use a bigger size for the writing please , as on mobile I cant really see shit . Nice 666 posts though

I think it is ridiculous when people say Smoker>>>>Zoro...Its not logicalU_U no matter how you look at it Smoker is a victim... and its mostly the sanji fanboys that claim this cause they are butthurt that Zoro is waay above Sanji in terms of strength.

only thing i agree on is zoro > smoker. as for the rest luffy is clearly stronger than zoro, zoro wouldn't follow a captain weaker than him. you can even tell by the way zoro is talking pica he knows he is inferior to luffy, "someone like you isn't worthy of facing the captain", "you think you can take the captains head at this level?" or someshit like that obviously implying luffy is above him. most important reason zoro is no stronger than luffy is plot shield luffy will always be stronger cuz he is the captain.

also zoro does not have conquerors haki, it woulda been hinted and he woulda awakened it throughout the 2 year timeskip

What I am most curious about is where Sanji falls in the M3, because Zoro suprised me a bit in the recent chapter. I would have never thought he would have so little trouble with Pica. Then again, Sanji has not been given the opportunity to really shine. My guess is that he is doing something impressive off-panel, just to surprise us.

Zoro is to me close to Luffy but lets just say Luffy is stronger but not in the context were it wld b tru to say Zoro is weaker than him(I know it kinda seems contradictory but really its not Liffy is the main prontagonist and also has the one spot surely defuned to b above what Zoro resembles aboard their ship so all in all Luffy gets the big guns up till the big gun is a swordsman or the big gun runs into Zoro before Luffy) If Zoro was asked what he wld think of a fight vs Luffy he wld think it very interesting just as Luffy wld think the same of the same fight so my point is they r in the same league anyways there is a lot of respect betwn the two so comments will b made especially from Zoro's side that show his captain aint no joking issue to him coz the moment luffy steps out of line in a manner that hinders Zoro and his goal we all know then the final villain is Zoro and the one piece wont b found seeing as a decapidated Luffy cant b the PK.

I am a Zoro fan but i really want to see Sanji doing something badass, not just Sanji but all the straw hats

Zoro firstly said Pica wasn't Luffy level because he was obsessed about fighting Luffy more than fighting him. He underestimated Zoro and thought Luffy was the only and real threat. It's for that reason Zoro kept teasing him and later stated it's not just Luffy and "Godusop" Lol the real threats. There is him as well. In other words, he never really admitted inferiority to his captain in that sentence, but just wanted to send him a message. Although yes Zoro should be weaker but i don't think the gap is that great. They have comparable portrayal so far and i don't think it's for nothing. Another thing, i don't think Pica is done yet. Otherwise it would be a shame

I love how people act as if the fact Zoro will be the WsS one day means he is haxed as f*ck now. He is at the start of his career as a swordsman and his travels. If you look at the Straw Hats on a wider scale they still have decades in order to catch up with the big digs when it comes to strength and knowledge. Also Zoro isn't going to stay under someone weaker than him, he has already implied this on numerous occasions.

The way I see it, Luffy is somewhere around Issho - Kuma strength. Zoro is still at Smoker - Pekoms.

I believe Zoro and Luffy are pretty much equals. Zoro was his first crew-mate, and his most loyalist crew-mate as well. Plus I never really like how people compare to different people. Zoro is obviously stronger than Luffy in the terms of swordman-ship. But Luffy is clearly stronger than Zoro in, like, hand-to-hand combat or whatever his Gomu-Gomu stuff is called. You can't really compare two different people. I believe they are equally strong though, as in, they have the same potential. When two people have two different dreams (best swordsman in the world, king of pirates) you grow differently and grow strong in your OWN way to accomplish that dream. So yeah, idk... buuuuttt, yeah.
