I actually just checked, you're right -- i must have forgotten... I apologize for talking out of ignorance. Though I do not believe these cover pages have any canon material. We have seen in the color pages that Kishimoto designs, that Sasuke's left eye is red... (I am not completely sure if he approves of the coloring, though it would be outrageous if he did not.)

Cover pages are drawn by Kishimoto about the manga, so it's definitely canon.

But who knows. For one of them, Naruto was drawn pink.

Nope, it'll end up red in the anime. Kishimoto would never ruin his favorite characters appearance by making him a Obito copy.
