Depends on how you define impressive. 1080 pound ho was a much awaited move from Zoro...but how casual it was on his part was insane. One would think that to be one of his best moves, and as of yet, it is, but again, as casual as it was, it leaves room for speculation on what else he has up his sleeve. I'll leave it at that.

Regarding Law...come on folks. The feats shouldn't be compared. That's how we end up having stupid Law vs Zoro arguments. Both were impressive, though it depeneds on how you as an individual defines impressive. Zoro's feat was a result of his brute strength and finesse with the blade. Law's was the result of his DF and arguably his strongest move. As yourself this: if Garp reduced a mountain to dust with a single punch as a result of his brute strength, then Whitebeard came along and did the same as a result of his GGnM, which do you think would be more impressive?

Whats impressive is the scale. We have never seen a flying slash of that scale since Mihawk in Marineford(although Mihawks was greater i admit). Besides, Picas golem is made of minerals and underground rocks assembled to each other. It should be harder to break through it than normal rocks

Lol slash tht scale clearly u forgot law cutting a mountain with one swing ...

I would go with Garp.

I thought we are not including top dogs like Mihawk. I am well aware of the fact that we have people like Shanks and Wb that can shake the clouds with haki alone.

I was referring to people of Zoro's generation.

Well you said this XD
When someone can pull such a feat with sheer force and without using DF help like Zoro did in this chapter then we can talk.

So i automatically assumed that you've forgotten about Mihawk's tsunami feat.

Ya I know but I thought people would realize my point with out specifying it since we have been comparing him with people of his generation such as Law,Luffy and Sanji etc..in most cases. It was my bad.

I second this. Zoro had used an attack of that scale without the use of a Devil Fruit or Haki. The ONLY other person on that level or beyond is Mihawk and questionably shanks.

This is well beyond deserving of praise. Pica definitely was shown taking damage from that attack.

The thing is, Mihawk did that feat completely casually. He wasn't even trying to cut that tsunami. His goal was to simply chop off Luffy's head and Luffy just happened to dodge.

We are comparing people that are on two different levels here.It isn't wise IMO. Look at Law's feat for example,His scale is bigger than that of Zoro's but what is the difference? Law has a Df that makes him cut anything pretty easily and the fact that he managed to overpower Vergo's Haki clearly proves that the attack was infused with a haki which surpasses that of Vergo. On the other hand Zoro don't have a DF and we don't even know if he's using haki or that attack was the resultant of his brute force which is why Zoro's feat can be considered as one of the best feats out there.

I don't know about u but IMO lifting 100kgs on your own is more impressive than lifting 1000kgs with a machine's help.

I said from the moment this fight started Zoro would low diff him U___U

But yes, I don't see why it's so impressive. Probably because it was simply Zoro doing it.
It was pretty cool though.

First of all, Pica isn't defeated yet. Yes Zoro said Pica isn't in his league but Pica has yet to be injured so I don't want to jump to conclusions. As for Zoro cutting the stone giant, I'm not impressed. Epic yes but unimpressive. Why? Because Zoro cut STONE. Something Zoro did may times pre-ts. In Thriller Bark, the shockwave from Zoro's slash cut apart the stone mansion. The shockwave in this chapter being able to cut from the giant's shoulder to a little below its chest comes at no surprise. Even before that, we clearly saw Zoro cut Pica's smaller stone attacks. If it was steel then I'd be impressed.

Face facts!

Actually, theres no evidence proving that Law's Haki>Vergo's. Think about it this way...You need a certain level of Haki in order to tank Law's DF slash but if Law also infuses Haki into that slash theres no guarantee that, that certain level of Haki will be enough anymore.

Law's Haki isn't necessarily>Vergo its just that Vergo's Haki wasn't enough to tank a mountain level slash from Law's DF. But based on your logic we can apply the same thing to Zoro, he could've used Haki in that 1080 slash.

DF's don't really work like a machine though Lol.

Law was able to extend his room to the size of a mountain which already requires immense training and skill with that fruit, the fact that he was able to cut everything inside was just overkill. Far more impressive then Zoro's feat imo.

Remember Jokers statement,Vergo's haki can negate the effects of Law's DF and it was before Law leaving Jokers crew which means that Vergo's haki at that time is strong enough to negate the effect of Law's DF. Years have passed since their battle and we all know that when haki can negate the effects of DF then the winner'll be decided by the level of their haki. Law must have the level of haki that can overpower Vergo's haki to damage his body coz his haki can negate the DF's ability. When two haki's went against each other the one with weaker haki'll be the one to take the damage.

Regardless,It dosen't matter if his haki is batter than Vergo or not. Here the point is Law must use haki to hurt Vergo which proves that the attack was a combination of Haki and his DF.

Did u just said that DF don't work as a machine? Give gura gura no mi to Usopp and his strength won't increase by any means right? hmm

I didn't said that Law wasn't skilled just because he was using DF my point is that you can't say that Laws feat is more impressive when he has more back up and put more effort than Zoro.

I admit that Law's feat is better than Zoro as far as the scale of the attack goes but impressive? I am not sure. Law was using DF+Haki and incase of Zoro we don't even know if he's using haki. I'll leave the decision upto u.

Only reason I thought it was impressive is because I dont think he was really trying and Pica is supposed to be DDs right hand man.

I don't enjoy Zoro fights. I'd rather watch Luffy or Sanji fight.

Not completely. He just split the upper region.

Yea, Luffy, chinjao and the King of Prodence did basically the same.

Well he was trying, it is his strongest canon, he used a santoryuu technique, so it wasn't a casual swing.
