My thoughts exactly. Kishimoto probably had no idea what to give her as her abilities, so he reused old part I techniques like Kimimaro's bones and byakugan. At least Madara brought something new to the table.

Indeed. At the same time he explains kimimaro clan origin, at least in my opinion, Kimimaro Kaguya. On the other hand, she is just a terrible final villain being controlled by a parasite like BZ. I can't believe she is the FV, this must be some type of build up for something bigger.. Bigger than Madara himself.

A good villain is not just determined by who they kill , their motives, personality, abilties, the way they interact with other characters, and a bunch of other different elements determines how good a villain is.

-And the last time she had any big character interaction with other characters was when she held Naruto & Sasukes' face and cried, which is pretty shitty if you're a villain.

madara had limbo, black lightning, the potiental to do 20+ new techs. kaguya comes in with her 2 jutsus and ruins everything

I think I understand what kishi is trying to do in introducing a greater threat than madara, being shes the original source of chakra and is trying to claim it all again to herself but its just not translating well into this manga and isn't imo what most of us wanted to see. If he had introduced her NOT as the final villain and had it been backstory or something with Hagoromo, I would've been alright with that.
