Well even though Kishi's story telling has been kind of shitty this arch he has shown he can still write good if he wants to:

Then again I could be totally wrong and Kishi might have Naruto or some other shit save him, if that's the case Kishi you suck!

Obito's death was the highlight of this chapter, and pretty well done. Yes. It would be foolish and illogical to wreck it.

He should be done at this point. Otherwise why would Kaguya bring along Kakashi, Obito and Sakura. She could have just left those three behind in snow realm but plot demands it. I have this vision of Obito's ashes with a pair of googly Sharingan on top.
