(OFFICIAL) James Rodriguez joins Real Madrid

After many rumours and speculation Colombian superstar James Rodriguez joins Real Madrid. He has signed a 6 year contract and will stay with Los Merengues until 2020. Rodriguez said it was "a dream come true to play for Real Madrid." He hopes to help the team win many titles.

My opinion: I think he's a phenomenal player, but I don't want Real Madrid to sell Di Maria. I'll be interested to see what Ancelotti does with him and Kroos.

Tbh I think Rodriguez is really setting up to replace Ronaldo once he's older. Ronaldo's 29 and some rumours state that once Man U. is back into the Champions League next season he'll join them. I really hope that's not true, but anything is possible.

Khedira is 50/50, Arsenal are the front-runners to get him.

His joining probably means DiMaria will move to PSG or rumors are PSG might take him on loan this year to prevent further FFP sanctions.
It is sad to see DiMaria leaving but Real Madrid might convince him to stay.

I know he is a good player but lets not get ahead of ourselves by proclaiming he might replace Ronaldo, but he will indeed make a great number 10.
Also Ronaldo I think will leave RM for ManU at the end of his career not now, at least not for 2-3 years.

Di maria is such a joy to watch, though im a barca fan it would be really sad if he leaves laliga although good for us. James is a quality player but lets see how he fairs in a top league like la liga and in the champions league.

Gotze got famous after Borussia's good run in european cup and bundesliga performances, and then Bayern bought him and he became a legit star. This goal in the world cup did boost his status around the world but he was already a star in Germany.
