Sakura has no knowledge of the original Sharingan. Madara has little to no knowledge of it. Black Zetsu guessed it. (Which was most likely wrong.) They all made assumptions of it. Hagoromo who holds knowledge of the Rinnegan and Sharigan that exceeds everyone we've seen states that it is the Sharingan and not Rinnegan.

Madara says its a Rinnegan, Sasuke says its a Rinnegan BZ says it. Sasuke has a Rinnegan.

Ohh and if you didn't know by now, BZ has more knowledge than Hagoromo. Even even implied that Hagoromo was a fool.
And i think BZ knows what hes talking about. He even changed the uchiha tablet which is stated that you need the Rinnegan to fully decipher it. So, yeah.

It is a Rinnegan that contains the sharingan's abilities. Hagoromo never stated that she had the sharingan, but that she had it's power.

Sasuke has the rinnegan, as for Kaguya it is called the sharingan instead of the rinnegan for some reason.

Kaguya's sharingan is just used for Infinte tsukyomi purposes and dimensions.

Sasuke is able to use his rinnegan technique and sharingan technique too.

Obito had the same eyes on his Infinte tsukyomi god tree.

The Rinnegan is just the 9 Tomoe w/o the Tomoe . Watered down more and it's less circles and the Tomoe are back sharingan
