No. I don't get it. A guy like Shikamaru or Shino is very intelligent and also no nonsense and can get things done efficiently. Yet, they can still treat others with respect. That is cool.

Anyways,i like Sasuke because he's smart,strong,and he has a cool appearance.This guy is a genuis,He's a fast learner - able to use high level techniques at a young age,(fire style,chidori),which impresses everyone,including those who are on a high level themselves(Kakashi,Orochimaru).He's a great strategist,he analyzes a situation and comes up with ways to counter it.He's strong - able to fight with the best and give them a good match.He's brave - at the age of 13/14 he left his home country and went out to become stronger so he could avenge his family.That takes alot of courage.I like his goals,to avenge his family against the ones who did them wrong,and now to become the Hokage so he can rigbt the wrongs that has happened in it's history,and make sure they don't happen again.He's a leader - decides what he wants to do - choose to go out looking for answers and when he got them he made a decsion on what he wanted to do.

That is what makes him cool,also his powers.

He's interesting. I also like Naruto and a number of other characters but this thread is about Sasuke.

Didn't Kakashi create Raikiri when he was 10? Sasuke grew up in the shadow of his (significantly more intelligent) older brother's brilliance. Even within his own class, Neji was considered stronger, and Naruto and Gaara both one-upped him. Sasuke was nothing special. Also, I'm not sure if Sasuke's leaving shows courage. I think it was out of fear if anything. Go look back at Sasuke's encounter with Itachi in Part 1 and the subsequent events. And are you condoning revenge? As well as judging the 'wrongs' of others...Even though Itachi chose to carry them out.

Hmm.. in terms of cool I would say him not using TNJ, fighting style(hebi) and maybe powers. I like him, because I understand... MS Sasuke was my favourite, because this was the perfect example of a victim of the current ninja system.

He just stands there spamming Sasunoo. His only real created move was nothing more than a giant rip off of Kakashi's
attack ( from the first movie ). Everything else are just random power ups that require him to just stand around and
spam Sasunoo because he now has an Infinite chakra reserve out of the blue.

Oh wait, his eyes bleed like tears and depressed emo tween nonsense. Sooooo cool.
Seriously, Gai and Lee are more entertaining to watch fight every single time.

It's not a rip off.Sasuke learned the Chidori and created variations,just like Naruto learned the Rasengan and made different variations.

Chidori wasn't originally Sasuke's technique,he learned it and created different variations - the Same as Naruto with Rasengan.

Sasuke also has Fire Style attacks,Kenjutsu,and Summonings.

What makes Sasuke cool? Hmmm. Good question.

Well, for me, Sasuke has this je ne sais quoi....I guess if I were to force words, it's the fact that he's for the most part a quite guy who stays to himself and minds his own business. His serious disposition, quietness mixed with this air of confidence which borders on arrogance (ppl call 'swag') makes you want to **** with the dude. It creates this air of mystery around him that makes you feel like you've gained entry into an 'exclusive club' when he allows you into his world. A little arrogance is sexy IMO. Who doesn't want to be the chick who wins the arrogant guy's heart or the dude who surpasses him? He's blunt and says what he means and means what he says. He has laser sharp focus and will stop at nothing to accomplish his goals. That's cool as **** to me.

All the other stuff about his past and anger and all that makes him more 'interesting' to me than 'cool.'

He's good at everything he does, he's sexy, and he does whatever the **** he wants. Whether or not you agree with what he does is irrelevant.

He keeps the story interesting. Plus he's sexy as ****. And did I mention he's sexy?

Kakashi was about 15,and who's to say Sasuke wouldn't have learned it by then? He was able to use nature transformation,fire style,at 7/8 so if he had Kakashi to teach him then - then he would of learn it earlier instead of at 13.Even so he still learn it in about a month at age 13.

Neji is a year older than Sasuke,he's not in his class.Gaara and Naruto have out performed him at times with feats powered up mostly by their Bijuu,Naruto did outperform Sasuke with his own power at times though like on the Hospital Rooftop,his Rasengan was more powerful then Sasuke's Chidori.But if we're just talking about part 1 then Sasuke was the strongest.

He kicked Gaara's ass to the piont where Gaara started going crazy and the Shukaku started to pop out,and by the end of part 1 it's not hard to that he would of beat Neji.

Anyway this wasn't a character vs or comparison thread.

Sasuke was noted throughtout the Story for his intelligence.In part 1,Orochimaru said that he has more potential than Itachi and so did Tobi in part 2.Orochimaru even said that he could surpass Madara.Sasuke is one of the best of not only his generation but of the Shinobi world.

As for the revenge part,yes,i think Sasuke wanting to get revenge on Itachi then the Konoha elders was reasonable.Revenge is reasonable depending on he situation.Sasuke didn't leave Konoha out of fear,Courage may have been the wrong word to use but fear is even more so.He left due to wanting to become stronger,not cause he feared Itachi,but because he hated him.
