I'm not so sure about the MS staying on theory. Kakashi and Danzo can't turn off base Sharingan because they're not the original owners of the eye so they need to cover it. They can however turn on Ms at will, actually they have to turn it on at will it never stays on. So it makes sense once the eye was pulled out from the owner the MS was deactivated. It would be weird if MS stayed active. With regard to getting EMS same thing, I don't think it needs to be turned on either. When Itachi died you can see his Sharingan was deactivated altogether.

If the MS deactivated specifically because it was taken out of its socket, then that means it still has the ability to be reactivated into MS and have KA be used, which Itachi can easily do considering he was able to remotely use the eye while it wasn't even in his own socket.

When Shisui gives Itachi his eye, it's in MS form. Therefore, Itachi, while alive, had to be able to use KA. When he implanted it into the crow it was in 3T form later on, meaning Itachi had to somehow have used it in the interim. I'm not fanboying. I'm using manga evidence.


Yes, after he used it he couldn't use it for another ten years and so he put it inside of Naruto in order to stop Sasuke in the future. I'm simply saying that a thirteen year old Itachi was fully able to utilize it.

He couldn't of; his eye was still in its MS form while still in his eye socket. Shisui states that he was afraid Danzo would of had come for his left eye, the one he gave Itachi because he didn't want Danzo to have another eye to have him use KA with.

@Draegod, he died at the age of 23. So no, he still had KA at 13. And no, I didn't post a scan that showed that Shisui was the last to use KA. I showed Shisui GIVING his eye to Itachi.

I thought it was age 21 in part 2? Regardless, lets subtract and do the math.

Itachi was leaser at age 13 of anbu, I.e. still in the village and the attack hadn't happen yet correct?
