edit: after reading the links the idea of it showing the answers to the questions we need is plausible for example the uzumaki clan. I know the films arent in line to the series but they do actually foreshadow a few hidden things.

Actually, Kishi requested to design an original character for the game. Not the other way around. Therefore it is not silly.

As for the timer, which hints at 28th July, WSJ's next issue will be officially released on that day and the website is supposed to go online along with it.

Though, we will get at least some basic info about the movie because of the scanlations being leaked early.
