I just started watching this and I only dislike this character

JESUS CHRIST THIS ONE RIGHT HERE. GOD SHES ANNOYING, she does nothing but get defensive over nothing, hate and sit on the one commanders tip all day.

I say this one because I hate people who judge others before they know anything. I'm on the episode where Erin first talks to the general and they're about to commence the plan to get his Titan form to lift the rock.

Right at the end of the episode... she caught up to him and started giving him this super *****y lecture about how he's 'spoiled' just because Mikasa was asking him if he's okay, and started going on about how there were more people in the world than just him, they all have names and that crap. Legit made me mad listening to her talk :| like she doesn't even know anything about what he's been through, spoiled is the LAST thing I would call him... like seriously.

That wasn't even a prep talk, hardly even encouraging him. All that was was a 'just so you know people are gonna die' talk, like what the **** is that. Bottom line her speech was unnecessary and could've been better posed if that was the main idea she was trying to get across, she was SUPER pricky about it.

Anyway just wanted to get that out, enjoying the series otherwise Lol, gonna watch the big episode where he lifts the boulder later when I get some popcorn.

That is the thing with every character. They can die just like that without any special tragic scene. Just like that. It happens quite often. U_U

Her speech was highly necessary, you missed the point of it. What she was basically saying was "Eren may someone who means a lot to you, but if you choose to do something to protect him over doing something to help mankind, if you do something to protect him that results in a failure on mankind's part, then you're in the wrong." And she's right. By saying "Eren is one person", she was saying that it'd be shitty for Mikasa to forsake the rest of humanity just to help Eren. She was telling Mikasa to make sure she had her shit together, not to let her emotions cloud her judgement, to be ready. Her speech was highly important and reflects a central theme of the show that even Erwin exemplifies: Sacrifices can, will and must be made. She might come off as a b*tch for saying it, but she was saying the cold, hard truth of a cold, hard world.
