Where do nagato's eyes come from?

At first we thought he was born with them(or activated them at a young age) but then the obito cave flashback showed madara gave it to him which was totally believable...

Then not so long ago, BZ re-told the.Madz vs Hashi VOTE fight and it turns out Madz lost an eye to survive that fight...

So now I ask: How did Madara have two rinnegan eyes?

If izanagi and izanami really are permanent then does that mean Madz found another pair or a way to reactivate the other eye?

Why is it that he was shown with only one eye when he activated rinnegan?

Sharingan is not needed to awaken Rinnegan. Madara still awakened rinnegan after Izanagi and gave both of his eyes to Nagato.

I had a cool ass theory back in the day that Madara manipulated an Uzumaki and Uchiha to fall in love, have a kid, and then had Konoha shinobi kill them so he could manipulate Nagato into working for him. I thought it made a lot of sense back then, and that I was on to something when the anime showed Nagato's mother had red hair and his father had black hair. That would've been cool beans.

- He can use susano'o without eyes. Same logic applies to his rinnegan. He did not have both the sharingan but he was the reincarnation of Indra. Hagoromo confirmed that Indra + Ashura's chakra = Rinnegan. So it doesn't matter if he had only one eye, indra's chakra + Ashura's chakra is what gave him rinnegan.

OT: I guess awakening the Rinnegan reverses Izanami. Or he transplanted a new sharingan eye after he lost his right one. then he proceeded to awaken the rinnegan, transplant them into Nagato and then obtained new sharingan eyes. Irl Madara would be a world renown Eye Surgeon.

It was his right Eye that activated Izanagi. He then regurgitated a piece of Hashirama's DNA, then activated the Rinnegan.
