I mean, even though base/super saiyan Goten and Trunks are nowhere near Goku, I think the fusion amplified their powers more than we think. Plus they went SSJ3. And being a fusion, it just became overwhelmingly powerful. Just my opinion on it, Toriyama needed some way to battle base Super Buu without Goku.

"Toriyama needed some way to battle base Super Buu without Goku." I think this is the main reason he was so powerful, Toriyama wanted to show someone other than Goku shine. Also "Plus they went SSJ3." I meant the base stats, Goku says 100,000,000 and Gotenks says 180,000,000. Plus it has Gohan being 16 billion power "points"(do we call them points or what's the word here for this) above Gotenks SSJ3. This all could be accurate and legit but it doesn't seem right so unless Toriyama's name appears somewhere on these I don't think they're author made, the math may be legit but I don't know or see anywhere that Toriyama approves of these ratings.

That's Fat Buu. Kid Buu > Fat Buu. Super Buu > Kid Buu > Fat Buu.

And like i've said according to Piccolo Fat and Super Bu are equal in power. The only difference is that Super Bu's body makes him a better fighter

Piccolo never said that in the scan. He stated he felt difference in Buu's ki and also his physique had become much more suited in battle.

While that would contradict the fact that if Kid Buu was stronger than Super Buu, that SSJ3 isn't stronger than Mystic Gohan (as stated) while Gotenks would be on par with Goku if not even lower.

You're telling me now that Goku would've easily kicked Super Buu's ass, while he couldn't kick Kid Buu's, although Mystic Gohan and Gotenks were stated to be able to wipe the floor with him. So you're telling me now this.

Kid Buu > SSJ3 Goku > Mystic Gohan > SSJ3 Gotenks > Kid Buu > Super Buu > SSJ3 Goku

Notice the contradiction?
