Did Sasuke teleport or swap when he cutted Madara in half?

Okay, as seen here, I still don't get it, however I've heard somewhere else that Sasuke needs to swap with a person or a single object to switch places, even though as seen above, then what did Sasuke do, running towards Madara or did he teleport directly to him like FTG, or did he swap with something, example : A rock beside Madara?
