NO dummy I am saying that Itachi didn't control time within the dreamscape because Sasuke would suffer the same result as Kaashi because a Genjutsu of tsukuyomi's power can't be broken in a split second not even by a jin so Sasuke would have lost and itachi didn't want that. The Tsukuyomi was MUCH weaker than the one placed on Kakashi

Uh no dude. I understand that you're saying Itachi didn't control time in the dreamscape but it doesn't matter because Sasuke was never in the dreamscape. He didn't break free from Tsukiyomi, he avoided it entirely.

What do you mean by "avoided it entirely"?

Basically, Itachi and Sasuke were having a Genjutsu battle. Itachi attempted to slip in Tsukiyomi during this Genjutsu battle, but Sasuke saw it coming by seeing through his Genjutsu. It's not exactly explained HOW he did, like, specifically in detail how, but it was said that he avoided being hit.

Yeah, if Sasuke was hit with Tsukiyomi, he most likely would have lost, though I suspect Itachi made it just strong enough to weaken him enough so that he could draw Oro out and didn't count on Sasuke avoiding it.

Yeah sounds possible... I liked how Sasuke thought he was a BADASS for breaking a weak ass Tsukuyomi with HIGH DIFF

So in other words, Itachi basically purposely let him avoid it but tried to do it in the first place to make it look like he actually did want to kill Sasuke in order to make his secret seem more believable?

Let me add, itachi would have one shot sasky with a finger genjutsu too if he was serious and one shot with a kunai since itachi took it easy :win:

No. Itachi's aim was to hit him with Tsukiyomi, but not one so powerful that it'd kill or defeat Sasuke. He wanted to hit Sasuke with one that would strain him enough to draw Orochimaru out. Itachi would have then sealed Orochimaru with Susano'o, and probably let the strain of Susano'o and the disease consume him, so Sasuke would get his revenge.

However, Sasuke avoided it altogether, which Itachi didn't count on, so the fight continued.

Tsukiyomi is Itachi's best Genjutsu, so if Sasuke avoided that, he could avoid the finger genjutsu.

From all the past threads you've made, I could hardly read the thread without wondering whether or not you were trolling.

Anyway, if you are serious. I always thought of it likes this.
Itachi casts Tsukuyomi-Gets Sasuke underneath Genjutsu-Sasuke breaks the Tsukuyomi from inside the Genjutsu
Basically, Tsukuyomi never took effect. It doesn't matter if it only would be a second in the real world, it isn't a second in the illusion world. They have as long a time to break it as long as the Genjutsu lasts. If they get caught in it, and fail to break it, then it's only a second in the real world. If they get caught in it, and break out, it was basically only a millisecond in the real world.

That's my thought process. You'd disagree, as I already know you will.

I doubt Sasuke avoided it by himself to be honest. If Itachi wanted him hit with a full-powered Tsukuyomi it would of happened.

Nope, susanoo is his trump card. And if sasky break tsukuyomi, any genjutsu is useless since tsukuyomi is itachi's best genjutsu

Nope. If itachi wants to kill, he would have one shot with susanoo or one uppercut

I'm really glad you said this. People act like because Tsukiyomi takes place in one second in the real world, you can't counter it. Genjutsu is mental, as long as you have enough time to perceive in your head, which Itachi does by making the Genjutsu last for seventy-two hours for example, then you have time to think and escape. It may last a second, but you can have far more than a second to mentally escape, which will allow you to physically escape.

Which is exactly why no Genjutsu was used again after Sasuke avoided Tsukiyomi.

Thank you for agreeing with me. I don't get why people think Genjutsu world=Real world. Well, in a way, it is. Except with Itachi's Tsukuyomi, it's more like.
One millisecond=One hour in Genjutsu world.
Two milliseconds= Two hours in Genjutsu world.
