When Sakazuki killed ace, Garp was pissed and headed toward him. Sengoku restrained him and garp stated that if sengoku didn't keep holding him down, garp would kill sakazuki.

Do you think Garp could defeat Sakazuki (akainu) at his current age. I personally think he could, but I would like your feed back?

Anaiku was able to survive constant earthquakes to the face by Whitebeard, but I think Garp would have been way to much.

I'm quite sure that Garp even in old age could take Pre TS Akainu, though Akainu after 2 years could surpass that verison of Garp.

Lol, what Sengoku holding down Garp has nothing to do with that, they were in the middle of a war, what do you think the soldiers and the VA's would do if they saw 2 top dogs from the marines fighting each other, they would get confused and could lose the war due to not knowing what to do, Sengoku was just playing it smart.

Btw I can easily turn that argument on you, maybe Sengoku knew that Garp would die fighting Akainu and was protecting him. It's all about strategy, that's why Sengoku was the Fleet Admiral.

Oh and if Garp was so strong and he would rape Akainu, like so many people say why didn't he do it after the war? Ace was still dead, so what stopped him?

Where are you getting this from? I'm just curious as to what reasoning led you believe Akainu gained enough power during the timeskip to surpass Garp, but Garp didn't gain enough power to keep the lead.

Akainu is both a short and an especially deadly long range fighter, Garp is exclusively close range, I don't see canon balls doing any good in this situation. And while Garp does have superior arm strength, I don't think he can take much scorching or contact from magma.

no real proof just that
- Garps getting older and older you get the weaker you get, while Akainu is in his prime
- younger generation usually surpasses the older generation, not all the time thou
- jinbe stated WG was stronger than the previous WG 2 years ago that without garp, sengoku, aokiji should mean akainu got pretty strong
