nah i was too young to know anything!

It doesn't necessarily matter. Grief is a complicated process. You could be mourning your own childhood, and growing up without a father. In turn you could find yourself stuck in one of the grief stages, perhaps anger, which may manifest itself as complacency in other facets of your life.

I don't blame you for not being that sad about your grandma dying but wait til someone really close to you dies then you'll understand

Acknowledging death and accepting it does not mean you are emotionless. To be emotionless is to not even bat an eyelid at anything others would look at as sad or tragic.

I'm not really touched by death either, but of course I'm sad when a family member/friend dies. My grandma died 2yrs ago, and her death was expected and natural (age of 84). What 's worse than death itself is to see your loved one suffering for months. But at least I visited her funeral :|

No - you're not emotionless, you're just not empathetic (able to feel someone else's emotion.)

Regardless of how you feel about someone's death, attending a funeral or memorial service shows respect for the memory of that person and the people they are leaving behind. Even if it seems that you're "going through the motions" by attending, it's something we're expected to do.

If you are always like this, then maybe you are a sociopath. Or someone with a weird form of autism.

People are supposed to have emotion, even if not expressed facially.

A guy just wrote a thread about his friend died and him being depressed! I don't know about that cause I never feel a flitch when someone is dead!(Maybe I would feel something in my mom) but all in all death doesn't make me emotional in any way! Last year grandma died, alot of people looked me bad when I didn't went to the funeral but I don't see something wrong in it!

Well not going to the funeral was really bad... how do you think she felt when you didn't come? Heck its like not attending your sibling's wedding

You're not emotionless, you're an apathetic, ignorant child.

Less emotional might be the right word even i don't show much of the emotions ( just try to be kind and considerate ) but you should've attended to the funeral of your grand mother .

The correct term is Asperger's, not weird Autism.
